Open Water Diver

➲ The Open Water Diver certification is available to divers from 10 years old.

➲ It is THE PASSPORT of diving, the most issued diving certificate in the world.

➲ The Open Water Diver certificate is a certificate that is recognised throughout the world. Once this certification is obtained, you become a Certified Autonomous Diver to a depth of 18m

This patent allows you to :

➲ Diving to a maximum depth of 18m

➲ Dive in a natural environment

➲ To be completely autonomous, to be able to dive with a diver of the same level or with a higher certification.


Duration : 
➲  3 days and one afternoon

Restrictions for children :

➲  Between the ages of 10 and 11, children are limited to a maximum depth of 12m and must have a parental consent 

To obtain this certification

THEORY :

➲ You receive the SSI teaching material (on mobile, tablet or computer)
➲ You prepare the 7 chapters you need to understand and integrate in order to pass the theory exam (accessible to children).

PRACTICE IN A PROTECTED ENVIRONMENT:


➲ You will learn how to use the equipment,
➲ You will carry out exercises that will enable you to become an autonomous diver
➲ You will learn how to deal with certain problems that may be encountered underwater.

PRACTICE in Open Water :

➲ You will make 4 dives in the natural environment.

➲ The first 2 at a depth of at least 6 metres and no more than 12 metres, in a natural environment.

➲ The last 2 at a maximum depth of 18 metres, in a natural environment.
