TRY SCUBA

Come and discover the world of scuba diving and the treasures of Lanzarote. We will take a morning to introduce you in a safe and progressive way to the pleasures and skills associated with diving. Includes an initial contact dedicated to learning the principles and equipment, followed by the actual dive from the beach.

The dive lasts an average of 40 minutes and the maximum depth is 6 metres.

Prerequisites : Be 8 years old

BASIC DIVER

Come and discover the world of scuba diving and the treasures of Lanzarote in 2 introductory dives.
The dives last approximately 40 minutes and the maximum depth of the first dive is 6 metres and the second is 12 metres.
We will take half a day to introduce you in a safe and progressive way to the pleasures and skills associated with diving. This includes an initial contact dedicated to learning the principles and equipment, followed by the dive.
Having completed the Basic Diver course you will receive a certificate valid for 6 months which allows you to benefit from the first dive of the Open Water Diver course.
Prerequisites : Be 8 years old

COURSE OPEN WATER

duration : 3 days and one afternoon

The Open Water Diver certification is available to divers from 10 years old.

It is THE PASSPORT of diving, the most issued diving certificate in the world. It is the first certification that allows the holder to be autonomous at 18m.
The Open Water Diver certificate is a certificate that is recognised throughout the world. Once this certification is obtained, you become a Certified Autonomous Diver to a depth of 18m.

This patent allows you to brevet:

Diving to a maximum depth of 18m
Dive in a natural environment
To be completely autonomous, to be able to dive with a diver of the same level or with a higher certification.

Restrictions for children:
• Entre 10 et 12 ans, les enfants sont limités à 12m de profondeur maximum et doivent obligatoirement plonger avec un parent ou un professionnel SSI (Instructeur ou Divemaster)
• Between the ages of 12 and 15, children are limited to a maximum depth of 21m and must dive with a certified adult or SSI professional.
To obtain this certificate, there are 3 parts:
• THEORY : you receive the SSI teaching material (on mobile, tablet or computer)
Then, the 7 chapters are to be understood and integrated in order to pass the theoretical exam (accessible to children).
• PRACTICE IN A PROTECTED ENVIRONMENT :You learn how to use the equipment and how to deal with some of the problems that may be encountered underwater.
• PRACTICE IN A NATURAL ENVIRONMENT : The diver must make 4 dives in the natural environment. The first two dives must be to a depth of at least 6 metres and no more than 12 metres in the open water. And the last 2 dives to a maximum depth of 18 metres and must be in the open water.

COURSE ADVANCE ADVENTURE

duration : 3 days

The Advanced Diver certification is available to divers from 12 years of age and is the one that will allow the diver to learn more about the diving environment.
During the first Open Water Diver course, the diver learns to take care of himself underwater.
For the second certification, he will now learn to take an interest in the diving environment through
5 thematic dives.
Once you have this certification, you become an Autonomous Diver to a depth of 30m.
This patent allows you to brevet:
• Increase your experience and knowledge as a diver by upgrading to the 2nd certificate.
• Experience deep diving by descending to a depth of 30m.
• Develop underwater navigation skills
• Begin to specialise in certain types of diving (Night, Wreck, Buoyancy, etc.)
Restrictions for children :
• Between 12 and 15 years old, children are limited to a maximum depth of 21m.
To obtain this certificate, there are 2 parts :
• THEORY : You will receive the educational material allowing you to prepare the 5 “Adventure” dives
“Adventure” dives you have chosen. These chapters will then be reviewed with the instructor during the theory course. Please note that there is no theory exam for this certification.
• PRACTICE IN A PROTECTED ENVIRONMENT:

You must complete 5 “Adventure” dives of your choice among the dives offered by SSI.

During these dives, certain exercises are to be performed. These dives can be done either during a dive trip in the natural environment

Attention : 5 dives are required for the certification and 2 of these dives are MANDATORY: the Deep Dive and the Navigation Dive.
The other 3 dives are optional.

COURSE ADVANCE OPEN WATER

The other possible step after the Open Water, the Advanced Open Water Diver SSI is the only one in the diving world that has such a combination of knowledge and diving experience. No advanced diver level from any organisation can compare to it! It is a globally recognised proof of your skills and knowledge.
To obtain the Advanced Open Water Diver certification, you must master 4 specialty programs and
achieve a total of 24 dives.

15 years old (12 years old for Junior Advanced Open Water)
